WHARRAM NARI in AEROGLEN, Queensland for sale

This well maintained Wharram 12m catamaran is ready to sail. The hulls are of solid fibreglass with wooden bulkheads. The beams are of Oregon with timber slated decks. Built in the traditional Wharram style, the beams are attached to the hulls with rubber blocks allowing the vessel to move under load. The masts are of timber with stainless steel rigging. This is a soft rigged boat so the rigging finishes with lashings onto the hull. It has a 30hp Isuzu diesel with a drop shaft in good condition. It has a good working sails including a mizzen stay sail. It comes with a tender, a 3m polycraft with a 15hp two stroke Yamaha. The tender sits in a cradle over the port hull when sailing. The galley is well appointed with 12v built in fridge and a four burner gas stove. You can comfortably seat 4 people around the galley table. The large double birth in the starboard hull can be converted to a settee that seats 8 people. There is the possibility of setting up a further 2 singles births and 2 small double births. It has an electric Muir anchor winch with 70m of 8mm chain and a 22kg plough anchor. Spare anchor is a 22kg plough that has 6m of chain with 50m of 20mm rope. The wheelhouse is fitted with vhf radio, auto pilot, Garmin chart plotter, depth sounder and radar. The Hf radio is located in the starboard hull above the chart table. There is a large boom tent that covers between the two masts
This vessel has sailed extensively in Australian waters. We lived aboard for 10 years comfortably in the tropics. It is time for someone else to take this lovely vessel on some more adventures.
